Have just read a really negative comment about The Bell. We held a christening there during the summer and had such a lovely day. REally reasonably priced, service was excellent and would not hesitate to use the Bell again for a function.

Visited lunchtime today. The Finchcocks Original was and excellent lunchtime beer, tasty and not too strong. The food was excellent and delivered to our table in the garden.

As we have come to enjoy at The Bell Inn, Paul, Karen and their staff served up an especially memorable evening for us with friendly efficiency, excellent drinks and tasty food. The Bell Inn effortlessly accommodated over 50 guests for our son's engagement party as well as making space for our own live band. And we didn't have any clearing up to do either! A great evening was had by all.

Well done to all at The Bell Inn who continue to provide just what customers ask for - excellent service and good value.

Late home from work last night, we didn't fancy cooking and a takeaway certainly didn't appeal, so we called in The Bell. A glass or two of cider (excellent) and two of the best pasta dishes we've ever tasted.

Fantastic stuff Paul & Karen. Oh and a big well done to Alan (always smiling) who topped it of with excellent service.

See you very soon.

Hi Paul and the team

Just wanted to thank you all very very much for a wonderful Mothers' Day meal yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was beautiful and the service excellent. It was such a success!

I took Jon's dessert home to him - he had to leave early because the baby was screaming and the best thing was for her to go home - and he was so grateful for the delicious crumble. I will return the little bowl to you soon (hopefully this evening). I won't forget, promise!

Thank you all again.

Just come across the website and would like to say very impressed. Goes nicely with the excellent drink, food, ambience, service, staff and ofcourse Paul and Karen. Don't tell anyone but Rebecca (10) and Joanna (8) regularly ask 'Can we go to the Bell Inn this weekend?'

We like the bell inn. Our friends live there. We went there at Easter and had mini egg icecream. They have rabbits called Candy and Toffee. Mummy and Nigel like it there too and mummy goes with her friends sometimes.

You surely can't get a more stunning, quintessential view of an english village than the one from the restaurant window. It's Tudor England in a neat frame. Like 'Stuey T' below, we are clearly not alone in enjoying the professional, attentive service and fantastic food at The Bell Inn. Thank you Paul, Karen, your talented chef and Dawn the super cool manager. It's the sort of place you hope to keep for yourself, but word is obviously out judging by the packed tables each weekend, so we like to go in the week and stay late. At last this area of Kent has a smart, friendly place that really does make everyone feel welcome. We really enjoy the excellent wines and are forced to admit to having far too much morning coffee and cake. The ambience is relaxed and it feels very comfortable whether in the bar or the extremely well-run restaurant. Don't take our word for it, go see!

Whether it's a romantic dinner with my lovely wife, a family lunch where the kids are warmly tolerated, a drink at the bar with my mates or as a sanctuary to get away from all of the above(!!), Paul and Karen always extend a lovely welcome to their wonderful bar and restaurant. If I go there anymore, I'm worried that they might charge me rent!! Keep up the great work, Stuey T.

Sat at your table on several occasions. Always received excellent service, fabulous food and scrummy dessert in a warm cosy environment just to my liking and the various friends who have accompanied me. Who could ask for more after a hard days graft.

I came with Keith on 25 January. Really good to have a pub in the area serving food of such quality. Beer was good too.
